Anthony “Ace” Egger, MD, is a dual fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in pediatric, adolescent and young adult sports medicine. After completing his residency training at Cleveland Clinic, he moved to Atlanta for a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He subsequently completed a second fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Emory University, where he served as an assistant team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech men’s football teams. He most recently has served as an attending surgeon at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta prior to returning on staff at Cleveland Clinic..
Dr. Egger specializes in disorders of the knee, shoulder, ankle and elbow, particularly those due to traumatic or athletic injury. His comprehensive training provides him with the knowledge and experience to help treat athletes of any age or competitive level.
Dr. Egger is active in research with numerous publications and affiliations in multiple national societies. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and cooking.
